Forklift Training Systems today reflected on the release of its Forklift Train the Trainer course almost 15 years ago. The main aim was always to find and fix any forklift-related threats, provide trainers world class instruction and materials, and provide on-going support… and by defying convention, this one of a kind forklift training did so, with a difference.

Anyone familiar with forklift trainer training will probably have noticed how many others offer trainer’s classes which are only 5-7 hours in length and fail to convey the total amount of information that needs to be learned. They are basically providing glorified forklift operator training, but not nearly enough information for a forklift trainer. We felt this was a problem because inadequate training can result in unnecessary workplace injuries or death.”

So, to mix things up, the Forklift Train the Trainer course instead offers an immersive 2-day training program that engages and challenges participants. Forklift Training Systems chose to make this move because injuries or loss of life should not occur unnecessarily when prevention via adequate training is available. They also offer an optional third day, which is an aerial work platform (scissor and boom lift) trainer’s class.
