Jackson Lake Storage, Inc. is expanding its self-storage facility by adding another storage building consisting of 38 units bringing their total to 140 units. Construction is now underway and should be completed within the next couple of weeks.

Jackson Lake Storage has been in operation since its first building was completed and opened to the public in 1995. The facility is located at 4451 Jackson Lake Road, Monticello, Georgia 31064. Their mailing address is 8989 Hwy 212 W, Monticello, Georgia 31064.

There will be rental discounts for all Military, First Responders, Fire and Nurses. All units are rented on a month-to-month basis. A discount is also available for annual prepayment of rent.

Unit sizes in the new building will include 5X10, 10X10, 10X15, 10X20 and 10X30. Pre-leasing is available by calling 770-468-1007. All units are within barbed-wire fencing with entry controlled by electronic keypads. Recently there has been installed extended night lighting for extra security.

When completed, there will also be a newly installed, twelve camera system that will record video to a central unit and will include a backup system of the recordings from all cameras. Bezel Locks by Chateau Products, one of the most secure storage unit latch and locking systems is being used on all units for increased security. Locks for all storage units are provided to customers at no extra cost.

Also, included in the expansion is a separate, newly created, parking area for boats, RV’s and campers. It has its own 24-foot-wide gated entrance and a much larger enclosed area with plenty of room to maneuver your unit which makes for easy parking. New night lighting of the parking area has been installed which, along with the new video surveillance system makes for greater security.

There is no office at the facility, but we are only five minutes away so just call us at 706-468-1007 to arrange a time to meet and see the unit and complete the contract and payment arrangements.
